  • Description

    Westpoint’s Red Bell Pepper is the dried fruit of sweet chile pepper (Capsicum annuum). These orange red to bright red pieces have a sweet and aromatic flavour.

  • Uses

    Dried bell peppers can be added directly to soups, stews, casseroles, salsa, or any foodstuff that will allow the rehydration of the peppers during cooking. To rehydrate for use in recipes with less liquid, soak in water for about 20 minutes prior to use.

  • Storage

    Product should be stored in a clean, dry place at a temperature not exceeding 60˚F and 60% RH. Optimum shelf life is 2 years without appreciable loss of flavour or functional characteristics.
