Autumn is the time when you will see nothing but pumpkin-related things. Pumpkin spice latte, pumpkin pie, pumpkin soup, roasted pumpkin… you name it. To celebrate the Fall and Thanksgiving season, we thought we should join the trend too.
Let’s be real, is there anyone here who doesn’t like brownies? We decided to create a recipe that combines two of the hottest foods – PUMPKIN PIE BROWNIES!
Fun fact: did you know that pumpkin pie is actually quite a healthy dessert? Of course, it depends on the amount of sugar and butter you add. In this case, opt for healthier alternatives such as almond flour, coconut oil and honey! Pumpkin pie is surprisingly a great source of beta-carotene. One slice contains more than the recommended daily value of Vitamin A, which benefits our eyes and immune system. The pumpkin filling is also rich in potassium, iron and Vitamin C.
