    Walnuts are the nuts from the Juglans regia tree. They are also known as the Californian walnut, English walnut, Persian walnut, or Common walnut. Walnuts have a mildly flavoured nutmeat that contrasts with the slightly bitter skin. These pasteurized walnuts have been broken into pieces that are a convenient size to use in recipes.

  • Storage

    Walnuts must be stored in a dry, cool place, away from heat and light, for an estimated shelf life of 6 months. To extend shelf life recommended storage temperature is between 35-45°F.
