Walnuts have a mildly flavoured nutmeat that contrasts with the slightly bitter skin. These pasteurized walnuts have been broken into pieces that are a convenient size to use in recipes.

Ready to eat as a snack or use in recipes. Walnuts pieces are commonly used in cookies, granola, brownies, and other baked goods. They also make an excellent addition to salads or poultry stuffing.

Walnuts must be stored in a dry, cool place, away from heat and light, for an estimated shelf life of 6 months. To extend shelf life recommended storage temperature is between 35-45°F.
