  • Uses

This product can be used as a low fat, dairy and caffeine-free replacement for cocoa powder. Substitute cocoa powder in baking with equal quantities of roasted carob powder. Sugar should be reduced by 1/4, since carob is naturally sweeter than cocoa. Carob powder can also be added to milk or other beverages as one would with cocoa, but as it is less soluble than cocoa, carob sediments may remain in the beverage.

  • Storage

Product should be stored in a cool, dry area with a temperature between 10-15˚C, and a relative humidity of less than 50%. Under these conditions, the product should have a shelf life of 12 months.
