  • Description

    This is an extra-colourful selection of organic beans, peas, and lentils. It can be used for soups, chilies, and cold salads.

  • Ingredients

    Beans: Azuki, blackeye, black turtle, cannellini, chickpea, cranberry, great northern, red kidney, baby lima, navy, pinto. Lentils: Black, french, green, red. Peas: green and yellow.

  • Directions

    Rinse 1 cup bean mix. Pour into boiling water and cover. Soak for 6 hours. Drain and discard soaking water. Add 4 cups fresh water to cook beans. Simmer over low heat until tender, about 1 – 1 1/2 hours.

  • Storage

    When stored in a cool (preferably less than 60˚F) and dry location (less than 65% humidity), shelf life is approximately 12 months.
