Hemp seeds, also known as hemp hearts, are from a variety of the Cannabis sativa plant which is grown for commercial or industrial use including food. Our Canadian-grown Organic Hulled Hemp Seeds have a fresh, slightly nutty taste and can be eaten raw. They are an omega-rich food and a great source of plant-based protein. They provide not only a complete protein profile in an easily-digestible form, but also an ideal ratio of omega 6 to omega 3 fatty acids.
