  • Description

This flour is milled from 100% certified organic brown rice kernels, and is free from any foreign matter. Brown rice flour has some of the rice bran included, and is more nutritious than white rice flour. This flour is gluten-free and non-GMO.

  • Ingredients

    Whole hulled brown rice.

  • Uses

Long considered a primary ingredient of gluten-free baking, this light and bland flour has a grainy texture and must be combined with other flours and/or xanthan gum for rising baked goods. It can also be used as a thickener, baking mix or as an alternative to wheat flour. To make baked goods less crumbly, it is recommended to combine rice flour with a starch (i.e. arrowroot, potato, or tapioca starch).

  • Storage

Product should be stored in a dry, cool area with a temperature below 15˚C and 60% relative humidity. Optimum shelf life is 6 months from the manufacture date.
