Green Tea Matcha Scones

with Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder

Prep Time: 10 min

Cook Time: 15 min

Westpoint Ingredients

  • 1 cup of Organic All Purpose Gluten Free Flour
  • 1 cup of Organic Stoneground Whole Wheat Flour
  • 3 teaspoons of Organic Green Tea Matcha Powder
  • A pinch of Fine Sea Salt
  • 2 teaspoons of Organic Cane Sugar

Other Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup of Milk
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup of Butter


1) Preheat oven to 400° F.
2) Mix flour, salt and Matcha powder in a bowl. Using a knife or pastry cutter, cut butter through flour mixture.
3) In a mixer or bowl, add sugar and milk and mix until a dough is formed.
4) Knead dough on a floured surface.
5) Pat or roll dough until 1″ thick.
6) Cut out 2″ rounds. Place rounds on lightly greased baking tray.
7) Brush tops with beaten egg.
8) Bake 12 to 15 minutes until dough has risen and edges are golden-green.
