Description
Our dried cranberries are sliced, infused with apple juice concentrate, then dried without any added sugars, colours and preservatives. They have moderate levels of Vitamin C, dietary fibre and other essential micronutrients. Dried cranberries contain no cholesterol, or saturated and trans fat. However, consuming them will supply only very little amounts of an individual’s daily requirements for vitamins and minerals.
-
Ingredients
Cranberries, apple juice concentrate, sunflower oil, no sugar added, no sulphur.
-
Uses
1/4 cup of dried cranberries is equivalent to about 1 serving size of fruits and vegetables. Dried cranberries can be consumed as a healthier alternative to candies. Some people directly replace them for raisins and other kinds of dried fruits. They are also commonly used as toppings on salads, in trail mixes, granola, cereals and baked goods.
-
Storage
Cool, dry storage below 7˚C is recommended for an expected shelf life of 1 year. Refrigeration below this temperature may cause some crystallization resulting from further dehydration and extreme temperature changes.
