It’s incredibly easy to work with and perfect for use in meat analogues. You can also use it in ready meals, snacks, cereals or as a sub for soy products!

With the ever-expanding interest in consuming less meat, we know that this powerful protein-packed product is going to be a welcomed addition for anyone dedicated to pursuing a plant-based diet.

Here are a few reasons why we absolutely love this Texture Pea Protein from Lovingly Made!

Peas are packed with benefits!

Textured Pea Proteins boast some pretty great health benefits. That’s because they are especially rich in iron, arginine and branched-chain amino acids. Amino acids can help fuel working muscle and stimulate muscle growth. Also, this textured pea protein is completely free from gluten and soy and is Non-GMO.

Peas help maintain soil structure and nutrient levels

Lovingly Made peas are grown and processed in Canada’s prairies a provide some pretty unique benefits to local farmers. First off, peas can grow in a variety of soil conditions and consume less water than most other crops. Therefore they are easy to farm and require less irrigation. But perhaps even more outstanding is how peas aid in improving soil health! During their growing cycle, pea plants give back nitrogen to the soil. Farmers will rotate in another crop, like oats, grape seed, wheat or canola after a season or two of growing peas. Farmers are then left with nutrient-rich soil which allows them to use less fertilizer and pesticides!

A company that is as wholesome as its ingredients

Based in Calgary, Alberta, Lovingly Made is a plant-based ingredient manufacturing company with a mission to support local Canadian farmers and sustainable farming practices. Their facility is gluten and allergen-free, kosher and non-GMO. Oh, and did we mention they are working towards certified B-Corporation status? We love that sustainability, environmentally-sound practices and transparency are sown into everything Lovingly Made does.

Give it a try!

Start your day by adding it to your smoothies or baked goods like muffins or pancakes. For dinner, try adding it to your pasta sauce or mixing it into a veggie stir fry.
