    The debittered brewer’s yeast is a byproduct of the brewing industry. The yeast is harvested, cleaned, spray dried and then grounded. The bitter flavour is lowered by a natural washing procedure without the use of chemicals. This yeast is not intended for adding leverage to baked goods or for creating alcohol in beer or wine, but rather as a nutritional supplement.

  • Uses

    Debittered brewer’s yeast does not require cooking before use and can be taken directly mixed with juice or protein shakes. The general dosage is 2 tablespoons (16 grams) daily mixed in milk, cereal or juice. It may also be used in cooking and baking to boost nutritional content. Apart from its use as a nutrition product, the robust flavour of this yeast can be applied to enhance meat and cheese in various food applications.

  • Storage

    If stored in a sealed container in dry and clean conditions and at an ambient temperature up to 15˚C, this product is stable for 10 months. Please note that debittered brewer’s yeast is hygroscopic, and therefore the partly used package should be resealed.
