  • Description

Bee pollen is a powder-like material that is produced by the anthers of flowering plants. The pollen is gathered by bees (Apis mellifera), that selects the best pollen from the millions of grains that are present. Bees adhere the pollen to their rear legs using a sticky substance secreted from their stomachs, allowing them to safely transport the pollen to their hives. The granular bee pollen is then collected and air-dried. The impurities are removed and the product is packed. Bee pollen granules are oval to round, multicolour granules, waxy in nature, with a slightly sweet taste.

Our Bee Pollen is from Wildflowers that are sourced within British Columbia.

  • Uses

It is suggested to take 1/2 tsp twice per day 15 minutes before meals. Try mixing bee pollen in a beverage such as juice.

  • Storage

Product should be kept in a cool, dry area at a temperature not exceeding 20°C and protected from direct light. The recommended shelf life is 1 year when stored under the above conditions.
