Description
Our Spinach Powder is made by drying and grounding the leaf portion of freshly harvested spinach. It has a bright olive green colour, with the typical flavour of spinach. The powder is very rich in iron, and is a good source of protein, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.
-
Uses
1 tablespoon of Spinach Powder is equivalent to 1 cup of raw spinach. You can blend it into smoothies for a nutritional boost or add in soups for extra flavour and colour. You can also replace a portion of flour used in baking. Since it is a natural food dye, it is ideal for recipes where a green colour is desired.
-
Storage
If kept in a cool dry place, the shelf life should be approximately 1 year without appreciable loss of flavour or functional characteristics.
