    Gluten-free flour mixes take advantage of the different properties from each ingredient, instead of relying on a single type of flour to attempt to simulate the texture and flavour of wheat flour.

  • Ingredients

    Garfava flour, tapioca flour, corn starch, guar gum.

  • Directions

    Substitute a scant cup of flour mix for each cup of wheat flour in a recipe. There is no need to add any guar or xanthan gum, because guar gum is already included in this mix.

  • Uses

    Bean flours can provide an excellent protein and fibre content to your gluten-free recipes. Try using this mix to thicken soups and sauces, baking, dips and fillings. The mild, nutty flavour of garfava flour is offset by the corn starch and tapioca flour.

  • Storage

    When stored in a cool (preferably less than 60˚F) and dry location (less than 70% humidity), shelf life is approximately 1 year.
